Owner and groomer, Sara Barnes resides in Myrtle Beach, SC living the beach lifestyle with her husband and dogs. Our home is home for our dogs or should we say our dogs own our home! We are sure you can relate!

I am an animal lover. For as long as I can remember, I had a pet. They hold a special place in my heart. Years back, I had an opportunity to make a career change doing something I am passionate about. I have a Bachelor of Science from Wilson College located in Chambersburg, PA. My majors are Equestrian Studies and English. My minor is Business. I entered the banking industry after college working for a local bank for 10 years. My banking career taught me so much and allowed me to grow as a person.
I am a graduate of Groomer Training Center located in Annville, PA where I obtained JKL International Accreditation receiving a Professional Pet Groomer Diploma. The certification requires 400 hours of study and 100 hours of practical on-site work grooming dogs. I am also certified for Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid. The curriculum provided me with knowledge of all aspects of Pet Grooming. Topics covered included dog breeds, health, safety and correct procedures for the entire grooming process.
We all love our pups! I will keep your pup looking and feeling their best as their groomer. It all starts with the Poochie Oasis van pulling up to your house. Grooming convenience at your front door. It’s that easy and stress free.

Hi, I’m Jewel.
I am spoiled rotten and I know it! I am a purebred Australian Shepherd. I have no problem speaking my mind. I am a talkative pup with a personality. That’s right I talk puppy talk to my parents all the time! My favorite hobbies are playing frisbee, long walks on the beach, sleeping, getting attention and getting pampered. What girl doesn’t want to get pampered?
I love my family and they love me. I think the Poochie Oasis van was bought for me. Shhh, don’t tell my Mommy! It’s a secret! I love the high velocity dryer. I fall to sleep while getting dried. I am even featured as a mascot on the van. You have to look for my illustration. You can’t miss me. I’m in a Magenta bikini! How cute is that!
The Poochie Oasis van is my personal spa retreat. But, don’t you worry, I will share this retreat with all you pups out there… well, if I have too!!

I love food! I am an Australian Shepherd and Blue Heeler mix. I play frisbee and I sleep. I protect my Mom and I am obedient. I am truly a Daddy’s boy but I also love my Mom. Sometimes, I am a little crazy and sometimes I don’t really know exactly what’s going on. I am such a goof ball! Oh, did I mention I Love Food?
I started the love of Australian Shepherds with my family. I was the first. As the first born, my Mom gave me certain privileges. I am featured as the main mascot in the Poochie Oasis logo. You can also check my illustration out on the van. I’m sitting next to my sister Jewel, wearing Yellow board shorts and drinking one awesome tropical drink.
I don’t get as hyped up about grooming as my sister. I’d rather not get groomed but my Mom says, “I Have Too.” I am so happy and feel so much better after a groom. Umm, that’s our secret… my Mom doesn’t need to know!
